Zareen Ashraff maternity leave
Zareen Ashraff will be commencing her maternity leave
in November and is currently undertaking to complete courses of treatment.
Zareen's patient list will be covered by Richard, Annette
and Karen. We will also have the added help of Annette's husband Dr Andrew
Wilkinson for the period of maternity leave.
Dunnington refurbishments
After some disruption in the waiting area at Dunnington, we
have now completed the full refurbishment of our decontamination room. The x-ray
equipment has now been moved from the room as it is now dedicated to
decontamination/ sterilisation and cross infection control. It allows us more
space to process the instruments using the washer disinfector prior to
autoclaves. Most instruments are now sealed and packaged during this process and
opened in the patients presence at the chair side.
We are very proud of our new room and would be happy to
show you it should you wish.
New Puppy- Bruce Fisher

'Bruce' is the latest addition to the Fisher family and is
now nearly six months old. He is attending puppy training classes with the
kennel Club and hopes to achieve his bronze training award soon!

Dental Implants
We Have worked closely with Dr Steve Byfield at the Raglan clinic
in Harrogate for a number of years which has resulted in a balanced and caring
approach to implants combined with implant best practice. Our patients may
discuss matters relating to implants without pressure to pursue this route.
Whilst all the surgical phase is carried out by Dr Byfield, some of the crown or
bridgework phase may now be carried out by us. The patient has the choice.

Denplan Excel Reaccreditation
We are pleased to say that following a practice inspection in May
2009 all the dentists successfully reaccredited as Denplan Excel registered. As
legislation and clinical governance relating to dental practice constantly
changes this allows us to benchmark our standards and demonstrate our commitment
to quality practice.
Fishers Cottage
Fishers cottage is situated in Seahouses on the beautiful Northumberland coast
. It is our seaside home and is available for holidays and short breaks. It has
three bedrooms and is well equipped including cot, high chair, barbeque etc.
There are a number of superb beaches nearby including Beadnell and Bamburgh and
the house is only 250 meters from the sea. If you like walking, golf, bird
watching, sea fishing, or just generally being at the seaside with the family,
the cottage makes an excellent base.
